VITES is an established European manufacturer of User Terminals for applications in the field of broadband SATCOM mobility applications, i.e. SATCOM-on-the-Move (SOTM) / Communications-on-the-Move (COTM).
The ViSAT product family includes different variants of User Terminals with flat, fully electronically steerable flat panel antennas (ESA-FPA) based on active phased array technology. The latest available semiconductor technology is used for maximum performance with the lowest possible power / energy consumption.
ViSAT User Terminals have a very flat design and can therefore be installed on all types of land-based and maritime vehicles in a streamlined and unobtrusive manner. Appropriately qualified product derivatives are available for the respective target markets or can be adapted and certified according to customer requirements. Suitable mounting kits are offered for ViSAT terminals for the respective vehicle types.
Ka-LEO/MEO
Connectivity to LEO/MEO constellations in Ka-band

ViSAT-KaMeLeon is our Ka-band platform for mobile broadband connectivity to LEO and MEO constellations. Thanks to its innovative architecture and the use of ICs optimized for the application, KaMeLeon is particularly energy-efficient and very compact. The scalable platform is available in different performance classes. A 5G router is also integrated, which enables automatic handover to terrestrial 4G and 5G mobile networks.
